MADNESS PHOTOGRAPHY

Madness Photography started as an official, serious company in 1998.
But the history of Madness Photography started long before. Onno “Berserk” Wieringa, founder and owner of Madness Photography, has been a self-taught photographer since he was a little kid and started to take pictures of something he loved since the day he was born: motorcycles!

His motorcycles
After he finished high school, he started working for various Harley-Davidson shops, where he learned to work on bikes. At the age of 17, he already owned two Triumph’s and when he was eighteen he had four Triumphs and a Suzuki GT 750. After getting his drivers license, when he was eighteen, the Triumphs all had to go and were replaced by a bike that he had wanted since the day he was born; a Harley-Davidson. This bike is still in his life; it’s an FXE-F 1200 Super Glide Fat Bob, which has been rebuild and modified endlessly and ridden for many miles. Going everywhere on the bike, there was one thing he always had in his pocket; his camera!
At the age of 23 he started drag racing, and he and his team named “Midnight Madness”, raced the bike on all the major races and drag strips all over Europe. He has competed in many classes; starting with the Street bikes, than Ultimate Street Bike, Super Stock, Pro-Stock, and then finally in the fastest gas burning class; Top Gas! Also again taking thousands of photo’s of everything interesting, at every racetrack! Being a racer for more than 18 years gave him insight in the world of fast bikes, and he’s still involved in the world of drag racing as a helper/mechanic and of course photographer / reporter.

Train plays at 2014 Sturgis Buffalo Chip Music Festival

Train Rolls Into 2014 Sturgis Buffalo Chip® Music Festival

Sturgis, SD (March 25, 2014) - The Sturgis Buffalo Chip announces that Train will unleash its feel-good hits on fans at the Buffalo Chip’s nine-day Motorcycle and Music Festival this summer.

The radio-friendly group will headline the festival Thursday, Aug. 7, 2014, capping off a day of military tributes during the Buffalo Chip’s annual Freedom Celebration. Train’s performance marks the first time fans will be able to see the GRAMMY-award-winning band perform in the Chip’s natural outdoor amphitheater during the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.

“Train’s hits span two decades. Their songs have such catchy hooks that it’s just impossible not to sing along,” says Rod Woodruff, President of the Sturgis Buffalo Chip. “I’m genuinely excited as I look forward to Train’s first performance at the Chip. Their concert performance will be a real highlight of a great party.”

Festival guests can expect to hear well-known Train hit songs like “Hey, Soul Sister,” “Drive By,” “Drops of Jupiter,” “Marry Me,” “50 Ways to Say Goodbye,” “Meet Virginia,” “Calling All Angels” and “Save Me, San Francisco.”

Train has delivered four Platinum-selling studio albums, earned eight GRAMMY nominations and won three GRAMMY awards since its formation in the mid ‘90s. Despite its major commercial success, the band remains humble and notes that its biggest pleasure comes from being able perform for its fans.

The reward isn't money or hit songs, but is the gift of being able to create, perform and exist in a beautiful form of art that we were all so lucky to have been chosen for,” says Train frontman, Pat Monahan.

Train joins a nine-day lineup of national touring artists to take to the Chip’s main stage Aug. 1-9, including Zac Brown Band, Mötley Crüe, Alice Cooper, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Florida Georgia Line, John Mayall and many others. Over 30 bands will fill out the festival’s concert lineup, and the Buffalo Chip will announce the remaining acts throughout the coming months.

Passes for the Buffalo Chip’s 33rd annual Motorcycle and Music Festival are on sale now. All concerts are free with camping. For more information or to get passes to the Largest Music Festival in Motorcycling™, visit www.BuffaloChip.com or call (605) 347-9000.

NEW HARLEY-DAVIDSON MICHELIN SCORCHER TIRES

NEW HARLEY-DAVIDSON MICHELIN SCORCHER TIRES ARE EXCLUSIVE DESIGN
Now Validated for Fat Boy and Fat Boy Lo Models

MILWAUKEE - New Harley-Davidson®-exclusive Michelin® Scorcher tires are now available as the only Harley-Davidson-validated alternative to the original-equipment tires for the Fat Boy® and Fat Boy® Lo motorcycles.

The Michelin Scorcher 11(P/N 43100016, 17-inch Front $230.95; P/N 43200022, 17-inch Rear, $269.95) fit 2007-later Fat Boy and 2110-later Fat Boy Lo models.

These Harley-Davidson Michelin Scorcher tires are exclusively designed, tested and approved to deliver optimal performance on each Harley-Davidson motorcycle model. The tires can be identified by the “Harley-Davidson” script on the sidewall and are available through authorized Harley-Davidson retailers.

Harley-Davidson advises its customers that it is essential to use only Harley-Davidson service replacement tires that are the approved fitment for each individual year and model motorcycle. Using non-approved tires or mixing approved tires from different manufacturers on the same motorcycle can adversely affect stability, which could result in death or serious injury.

Harley-Davidson Motor Company produces custom, cruiser and touring motorcycles and offers a complete line of Harley-Davidson motorcycle parts, accessories, riding gear and apparel, and general merchandise. For more information, visit Harley-Davidson's website at www.h-d.com.
