Madness Photography started as an official, serious company in 1998.
But the history of Madness Photography started long before. Onno “Berserk” Wieringa, founder and owner of Madness Photography, has been a self-taught photographer since he was a little kid and started to take pictures of something he loved since the day he was born: motorcycles!

His motorcycles
After he finished high school, he started working for various Harley-Davidson shops, where he learned to work on bikes. At the age of 17, he already owned two Triumph’s and when he was eighteen he had four Triumphs and a Suzuki GT 750. After getting his drivers license, when he was eighteen, the Triumphs all had to go and were replaced by a bike that he had wanted since the day he was born; a Harley-Davidson. This bike is still in his life; it’s an FXE-F 1200 Super Glide Fat Bob, which has been rebuild and modified endlessly and ridden for many miles. Going everywhere on the bike, there was one thing he always had in his pocket; his camera!
At the age of 23 he started drag racing, and he and his team named “Midnight Madness”, raced the bike on all the major races and drag strips all over Europe. He has competed in many classes; starting with the Street bikes, than Ultimate Street Bike, Super Stock, Pro-Stock, and then finally in the fastest gas burning class; Top Gas! Also again taking thousands of photo’s of everything interesting, at every racetrack! Being a racer for more than 18 years gave him insight in the world of fast bikes, and he’s still involved in the world of drag racing as a helper/mechanic and of course photographer / reporter.

Red Shift Dual Piston Cam Chain Tensioners are a must-have for 2006 Dyna's and all 2007 to present Twin Cams. These tensioners are a direct replacement to improve cam timing accuracy and valve train control at two critical key areas; the drive and driven cam chains. Replacing the original equipment hydraulic tensioners with this new dual hydraulic bodied design will maximize chain stability, restore critical timing events, reduce valve train noise, and improve the lifespan of valve train components; all while improving the overall performance of the engine.



 The dual-piston design is simple and effective and it is easy to see why it works. When the Twin Cam engine is running, the power pulses rock the tensioner shoe back and forth. On a single piston tensioner design, the natural shoe movement causes the hydraulic piston to momentarily unseat at the base, which interrupts the pressurized oil stream and introduces air into the hydraulic tensioner. Air will diminish or eliminate the pressure that the tensioner shoe places on the cam drive chains, allowing loss of valve train control leading to "bouncing" components including valves, spring collars, rocker arms, pushrods, lifters and camshafts. The Dual Piston Cam Chain Tensioners are designed with shoe and hydraulic stability in mind, eliminating harmful air leaks in the cam chain tensioning system while dramatically improving overall valve train control and durability. It restores critical camshaft timing events for both cylinders, improves throttle response, acceleration and smoothness and increases horsepower and torque throughout the entire RPM range. In short, these are the finest tensioners on the market, engineered with superior manufacturing and design. Installation of these tensioners alone will release another 3-4 BHP on a stock bike. They are also great for High Performance applications. In particular with High Lift cams where gear driven cams are no option. Kit includes both primary and secondary cam chain tensioners.

Patent pending 'Stealth' SuperCoils


STEALTH SuperCoils are a new patent-pending ignition coil from ACCEL
 for use on Twin Cam motors.


The new coil design hides all the ignition wiring in the head of the coil pack, eliminating the need for spark plug wires, and it is also claimed to provide quicker engine starting and improved throttle response.


Available in either black or natural finishes, the Stealth SuperCoils mount directly to the spark plug and feature a cross-functional aluminum cast cover that acts as a heat sink, pulling heat away from the cylinder heads.
ACCEL's new coil system requires no cutting or splicing of the factory wiring harness and uses Delphi connectors to make installation plug and play. The coil features a claimed faster rise time and higher voltage than traditional systems, meaning the plugs receive maximum spark energy and perform better. The Stealth SuperCoils are covered by ACCEL's limited lifetime warranty.
