Madness Photography started as an official, serious company in 1998.
But the history of Madness Photography started long before. Onno “Berserk” Wieringa, founder and owner of Madness Photography, has been a self-taught photographer since he was a little kid and started to take pictures of something he loved since the day he was born: motorcycles!

His motorcycles
After he finished high school, he started working for various Harley-Davidson shops, where he learned to work on bikes. At the age of 17, he already owned two Triumph’s and when he was eighteen he had four Triumphs and a Suzuki GT 750. After getting his drivers license, when he was eighteen, the Triumphs all had to go and were replaced by a bike that he had wanted since the day he was born; a Harley-Davidson. This bike is still in his life; it’s an FXE-F 1200 Super Glide Fat Bob, which has been rebuild and modified endlessly and ridden for many miles. Going everywhere on the bike, there was one thing he always had in his pocket; his camera!
At the age of 23 he started drag racing, and he and his team named “Midnight Madness”, raced the bike on all the major races and drag strips all over Europe. He has competed in many classes; starting with the Street bikes, than Ultimate Street Bike, Super Stock, Pro-Stock, and then finally in the fastest gas burning class; Top Gas! Also again taking thousands of photo’s of everything interesting, at every racetrack! Being a racer for more than 18 years gave him insight in the world of fast bikes, and he’s still involved in the world of drag racing as a helper/mechanic and of course photographer / reporter.

This unique internal structure produces highly concentrated light output despite the incredibly small size of the indicators. Atto DF
Measuring 10mm (diameter) x 14mm long, the 4-wire Kuryakyn by Kellermann Atto DF features three-in-one ultra-bright red run/brake and amber turn signal functionality. The Atto DF remains visually hidden when the bike is powered off, but when activated, these pint-sized powerhouses deliver intense illumination to keep trailing motorists at a safe distance. The newest member of the Atto family is intended for rear use only. Unlike other Atto indicators, the Atto DF includes a heat sink that absorbs and disperses heat away from the housing to prevent overheating. Atto DF is available in satin black or chrome finishes.

Rhombus S
The Kuryakyn by Kellermann Rhombus S is a significantly scaled-down version of the popular micro Rhombus family. Available as 2-wire amber for front or rear applications, as well as 4-wire red run/brake and amber turn signal for rear applications, the Rhombus S features a sleek, angular housing that measures approximately 35mm long x 9.5mm wide x 11mm high. Because of their unique angular shape, Rhombus S indicators are sold as specific right- or left-
side fitment configurations in satin black finish.

“It Was Rammed”


No exaggeration, the aisles of the 240,000 sq ft Hall 10, which staged INTERMOT Customized and the AMD World Championship of Custom Bike Building, were crammed with people from around 9:30 am through to within an hour or so of the 6:00 pm close on each of the first four of the five public attendance days; even the generally slower Sunday was noticeably busier than in prior years.


The combined Press and Dealer day was also more crowded than we’d seen before and estimates put the INTERMOT Customized attendance at around 150,000 with INTERMOT as a whole pulling around the same attendance as 2016 - some 220,000 people. This confirms INTERMOT Customized and the ‘AMD’ as a major draw for the whole of the motorcycle industry, as the best attended indoor international custom industry expo there has ever been, anywhere, and as the headquarters event for the international custom market in the 21st century - a Parallel Universe of business opportunity.
